Each strand is constructed of high-tenacity polyester cover yarns securely wrapped around New England Ropes' trademark blue nylon core. The strands are firmly twisted to resist the backturning, abrasion, and bouncing common in most 3-strand lines. The tough, durable construction is treated with a protective finish to minimize abrasion and maximize rope life.
